Here's A Little Bit About Me & My Journey

My name is Alfie Ripley, I am 19 years old and I specialize in Vehicle Photography. I am based in the county of Somerset in the United Kingdom. I have been doing Vehicle Photography for over 5 years and I am experienced at taking high quality photos and videos!

My journey started in my primary school years writing down lorries I seen, then progressing to take photos & videos of them passing in the back of the car.

 My father then decided to take me to see lorries up close at Parker Transport, who were local to me and we used to go up most Saturdays as I absolutely loved it! 

I was then bought my first camera; a Panasonic Lumix FZ330 which was a cracking camera to get me started. I did my first photo shoot at Parker Transport and took pictures at all the truck shows I attended. 

I was then invited to do a photo shoot for Stuart Harvey Transport, who were also local to me. Unfortunately, less than a month after this shoot, I lost my beloved father suddenly. This was a hard time for both me and my family.

After a few months away from photography, I invested in a new camera and got back to it! I was lucky enough to have a shoot with AJ Brunt and their new Volvo, followed by a photo shoot with D&F Super Cranes with their Scania T Cab.

And from then, I have continued making some great friends, acquired some great contacts and done quite a few shoots and built up my experience to where I am now! I taught myself my own way round my camera for taking photos and I have taught myself my own style of editing to get it to how I like my photos. Everyone starts somewhere and has their own journey to where they are today.
